A New Life for Yellow

December 15, 2018 by EK Park, Executive Director 1 Comment

We are so happy to share updates about Yellow‘s new life in Canada. After Yellow finished the hip surgery, she got adopted by a family in Toronto right away. The family, Sam, James, and Nathan, had been waiting for Yellow to finish the surgery sucessfully. What a lucky girl, Yellow was! It has been a month since then. Yellow has been doing great at her new home with her family. She gets comfortable little by little everyday; follows mama and daddy around the house; likes Nathan and his friends; enjoys laying down in the living room and watching squirrels outside. The family is so happy to see the progress that Yellow has made and can’t wait for her to be all well so that we can go for longer walks and have more fun adventures together.

We are so grateful to the family and all supporters who have brought the wonderful life to Yellow; from a horrible dog meat farm to a happy, safe, forever home!

Gamza needs his forever home, too.

We have another lab, Gamza, who was rescued from the same dog meat farm in Korea. He is indeed Yellow’s friend (or maybe her brother). Gamza and Yellow were so  close together. While Yellow found her forever home, Gamza is still at foster home. He is extremely submissive and obedient to people and also to other dogs. Very shy and still scared of people. Yet, he wants to stay close to people and get attentions. This poor baby deserves his forever home. To learn more about Gamza, https://www.freekoreandogs.org/adopt/gamza/

Hello, I am interested in adopting a small dog but prefer not to go on Facebook. I will be retiring from my job soon and would love to have a small dog to walk and just be a companion. I would appreciate it if you would offer any advise. A women had a tiny poodle she adopted from Jindo love rescue. The stopped and looked up at me with a beautiful smile that I cannot get out of my mind.
