It has been 3 weeks since I arrived in Korea to continue our work from our latest dog meat farm shutdown. Since arriving, I have been busy working at our partner shelters and visiting our dogs at the shelters and training schools. I am taking the opportunity to not only lend a helping hand, but to listen to the shelter managers – their concerns, frustrations, what our dogs need, and how we can do better.
Overall, our babies are doing well. 3 more dogs from our 2018 Dangjin dog meat farm dog shutdown are now ready for adoption (Yay! Finally! After 4 yrs!).
Our Siheung dog meat farm rescues continue to do well. 12 puppies were recently spayed/neutered and are now ready to find their forever homes.

Although I know that our colleagues work hard and really care for our dogs, every time I come to Korea, I realize how lucky and grateful I am. And when I return to Canada and see how happy our adopted dogs are, I am not only thankful but more motivated and hopeful.
While I am in Korea, our volunteer team in Canada also works insanely. Without any support in Canada I wouldn’t be able to come to Korea and spend time with our colleagues and our dogs.
Your devotion really makes me humble. It is so true that it takes a village to save dogs. Thank you very much everyone.
